Winter Shelter Project
The people of Gaza are grappling with the harsh realities of winter, compounded by the loss of their homes, forcing many to live in tents. Children and the elderly are particularly vulnerable, facing heightened risks of hypothermia and respiratory illnesses. The lack of adequate sanitation further exacerbates the situation, increasing the likelihood of infections spreading due to close living conditions.
In response, we are committed to preventative measures to safeguard the health of the most vulnerable. Our mission focuses on reconstructing shelters for those at greatest risk, aiming to reduce weather-related health issues and improve living conditions during this difficult time.
The cost of building new tent for a family of 8: £600
Reconstructing an old tent: £100-£300 depending on the size of the tent.
