The health infrastructure in Gaza has been decimated, leaving countless individuals without access to essential medical care. Medics on the ground are facing overwhelming challenges, including severe shortages of medical supplies and medications, and the targeting of healthcare workers and facilities. There is currently no treatment for chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes, leading to serious complications. Injured individuals have no access to medications, compounding their suffering. Pregnant women are without prenatal or postnatal care, children have missed critical vaccinations, and elderly individuals, including dementia patients, have been left without essential medications, resulting in a rise in psychotic episodes. With no access to primary care, many locals feel forgotten and abandoned.
Nomad Medics is launching an urgent campaign to address these critical needs—currently unmet by any other organization. Our objectives are divided into two key stages: Mobile Medical Clinics: We have assembled a team of local doctors to establish mobile medical clinics at various points across Gaza. These clinics will implement a triaging system to identify the most at-risk patients, ensuring they receive care from the appropriate specialists. Delivery of Medications and Medical Equipment: The second stage of the campaign focuses on procuring and distributing life-saving medications and essential medical equipment to address the most urgent health needs.
We urgently need support for this campaign to ensure its success. Your assistance can help provide hope and critical care to a population that has been devastated by war and feels left behind by the world. Together, we can make a significant difference in saving lives and restoring dignity to those in Gaza.
