Access to clean water in Gaza remains a critical challenge amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Since July, despite scorching heat, efforts have ensured that clean water is provided on a daily basis. Through the dedicated work of our team on the ground, a twice-weekly distribution system has been established, ensuring that water is collected and delivered to those in need..

Special attention is given to the most vulnerable populations within the camps, including the elderly, young children, and pregnant women, to ensure adequate hydration. Prior to these efforts, the desperation for water was so severe that newborn babies were being fed formula milk mixed with seawater, highlighting the urgency of the situation.

These distributions have been vital in addressing the immediate water needs of Gaza’s population, prioritising health and survival in the face of dire conditions.
